Since my blog could be a very sad place today.. instead I choose to focus on the Happy today.

?Grandma is comfortable.?

?My friend Colette showed up at my door with a bowl of cherry tomatoes.
It was so nice for her to give me such an offering.. and also.. to sit and chat with me for a few minutes.? Colette is?such a ?kind friend.

My Grandma's brother Rulon Francis gifted me with this book he wrote in 2011.
I have coveted this book for a LONG time.. and told Chad I wanted to purchase it off of Blurb.
But.. it is $60.00.. and money has been tight.. so no book.
Yesterday... Rulon showed up with an autographed copy.. and would not accept my cash offering.
He told me it was payment for caring for his sister.. and I admit.. the token of Love made my heart happy.? I love Family History... and any chance I can buy anything with some of my families histories is priceless to me.
Great Uncle Rulon and Great Aunt Jerry came to bid Grandma farewell yesterday.
It was sweet.

My darling cousins Melanie and Heather came to see Grandma last night.. and it was so nice of them to be here for me -- for a while too.? I feel bad that I took up a lot?of their time.. but it was nice to be able to "talk" and vent a little.? Melanie brought me a bag of fresh peaches from her tree.. and we look forward to devouring them all this weekend.

Humbling myself... and Accepting Service.
Before the girls left.. Heather decided to feed her new darling baby before heading home.. and Melanie told me she was going to clean my kitchen.? Ummm.. what?????
That might have been the hardest thing I have had to do in a while.?
I was standing there!
?I am capable to clean my own kitchen!
It was extremely hard to listen to her.. and let her help.?
?It would be one thing if I wasn't ABLE to do it.. but then.. I realized that maybe that was her way of feeling like she was doing something.
My cousins are all such Gems I tell ya.
I am so grateful.. and humbled to belong to the Tenney Family!

My kids.
They are always using there imaginations.... giggling.. and coming up to show me what silly things they are doing or creating.
They like to Linger around Grandma's room.. and love it when we have company.
They really have sacrificed much this summer.. and they now have a great love for their Great Grandmother.

It's the Weekend.
Garage Sales with Morgan.. time spent with Family.....baby showers...?and Last hours and/or Days spent with my sweet Grandma.
Today I am Grateful for:
The Comforter.
The Spirit in my Home.
Friends and Family.
Our kitties that were almost lost for 24 hours.. found there way home.
Shopping for a new pair of jeans.. and having the assistant tell me that I am not one size smaller... but two!? Whoo-hoo!!!
