Many years ago my roleplaying life began on the NationStates forums. Slightly less long ago it also ended there, mostly because I was tired of people messing up stories by joining them and then disappearing. Real life troubles happened, I didn't play for some years, and now I'm looking for a new roleplaying "home".
I really enjoy playing groups of characters, I used to play one with a history from the present to the near future to the far future, with an own developing culture, and in the far future version also an own language and a few species. I'm not going to recycle any of it, I hope to build something even more amazing instead. Of course I have no problem with putting only one of my characters in a story, or making up a new one who is only distantly related to the existing ones - or even something completely new.
I love to put my characters in awkward situations. I'm also fond of maximally funny bizarre disaster coincidences that aren't necessarily awkward, but don't overuse them. I like to make things more difficult than necessary (for example, people from the culture I made up refused to carry (most) weapons).
I've always wanted to try a roleplay set in the stone age, but couldn't find anyone who was interested. But right now I'm "feeling" a new character that fits better in an environment with more technology, perhaps the far future again.
